A-1 was hired to restore a historic shotgun home in Old Algiers, New Orleans. What began as foundation repair expanded to siding replacement and repairs to original windows and doors.

A-1 was hired to restore a historic shotgun home in Old Algiers, New Orleans. What began as foundation repair expanded to siding replacement and repairs to original windows and doors.

Slab Foundation Shoring/Leveling-Lake Vista-New Orleans

A-1 was hired to shore and level a home in Lake Vista. The house was about 6" out of level after the original wood pilings beneath the slab deteriorated and could no longer carry the load. Symptoms included uneven floors, cracked drywall, and sticking doors. As with any slab repair, the job required significant excavation. We installed concrete pilings beneath the slab and used hydraulic jacks to re-level the structure, restoring stability.

A-1 was hired to stabilize this very historic home in the Fontainebleau Neighborhood. Client was struggling with constant large cracks in her stucco, due to movement and settling of the concrete foundation. As with all Slab Foundation Repairs, a tremendous amount of digging and work go into this projects. Very proud of the team that made this happen.
